Perform daily simple lab work, such as DNA, RNA isolation, OD and Qubit reading, retrieve samples, data entry into excel spread sheets, files arrangement, organize lab daily disposables and other common material.

The person will:

  • Perform a few, relatively simple, technical procedures;
  • Require intermittent guidance;
  • Rarely be responsible for ordering routine supplies;
  • Rarely analyze data.

Required to have at least a High School diploma and one year of technical school, or an Associate's degree or equivalent skills and related experience.

Training: 1-3 months of equivalent skills and experience

The purpose of the Cell Culture Core Facility is to provide cultured cell lines and isolated DNA to AECOM investigators and collaborators to enhance their research efforts on genetic diseases and other disorders at reduced effort and cost. The Cell Culture Core Facility has three laminar flow bio-safety cabinets, four tissue culture incubators and eight large liquid nitrogen storage units for cell repository.
