Job Description:

Our offices in Syracuse, NY is looking for a self-driven, autonomous and ambitious Account Executive with the ability and willingness to learn Bankers Healthcare Group?s financial products and services. You will experience working in a high-energy environment while continuing to gain extensive knowledge of the financial industry.?The work an Account Executive will perform is critical to our success, and will have a substantial impact on BHG?s business operations and customers.?


Essential Job Duties:

  • Account Executives utilize independent discretion and judgment to analyze and assess information related to customer assets, income, debts and decide which financial and loan products best meet the customer?s needs and financial circumstances, and advise customers accordingly regarding the advantages and disadvantages of different financial products.
  • Market and promote company products and services to current and potential clients.
  • Account Executives should have strong prospecting skills, including the ability to engage in high-level cold-calling to qualify and close new accounts
  • Excellent communication and presentations skills with top-notch customer service approach
  • Document activity using our CRM.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from phone and field activity
  • Account Executives will establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships



  • Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Account Executives will need strong relationship-building skills needed to build rapport with clients quickly and professionally
  • Analytical/problem-solving skills are essential
  • Account Executives should have 2 to 5 years of sales experience (inside phone/intangibles preferred) along with a track record of success as a closer and achieving goals and quotas
  • Financial Sales experience is required
  • Thrive on energy, passion and the desire to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be willing to learn, be coachable and want to make money
