We are seeking a ProductionAnalyst to join our team in Deer Park, NY. As our Production Analyst you will coordinate across shift teams, with a focus on managing data designed to measure and support the team. You will work with vendors and various internal departments to accommodate production needs. You'll collaborate with print vendors to handle all vendor invoices and partner with the Finance team to ensure accurate coding and payment. In order to represent Broadridge in the best possible way, there will be an emphasis on providing both client samples as well as models for all new initiatives.

Responsibilitieswillinclude:
  • Collect and analyze data; prepare and maintain production reports and departmental metrics (when needed)
  • Interact with associates from all departments within operations and IT to gather and evaluate existing procedures
  • Recommend enhancements/improvements
  • Assist organizational leaders with special projects
  • Monitor all databases and software utilized within Operations to ensure there are no outages or interruptions.
  • Manage projects from beginning to completion with a successful timely implementation.
  • Understands all software and databases utilized so he/she can troubleshoot and correct when there are systems issues. Maintains all systems and updates accordingly using knowledge of programming.
  • Interact with various levels of management across impacted areas to provide status updates and/or to obtain necessary information to meet commitments.
  • Leadership - Provide training to team for efficiencies, new processes, new software; Participate in team meetings, GPTW meetings, etc.
  • May perform other duties/responsibilities as needed or assigned
  • utilize Industrial Engineering methods to improve processes and determine root cause

PreferredQualifications:
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience in industrial engineering, business management, operations research, operations management
  • Strong Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel skills with the ability to build spreadsheets and basic databases
  • The candidate must be able to work alone under minimal supervision with tight deadlines and be a motivated self-starter
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification a plus

Skills/competencies:
  • Proficient written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills
  • Understanding of systems engineering concepts
  • Functional/technical skills - ability to understand file location; DB structure; file types; data movement
