Position Purpose:

Job Description Details:

Assembles, analyzes, and flags deficiencies identified in the patient's health information that do not comply with medical staff rules and regulations, JCAHO requirements, health information standards, hospital standards, and medico-legal aspects of the health information. Maintains necessary statistics and the chart monitoring system to ensure timely completion of medical records.

High School Graduate. 2-3 years experience in health information. Legal background helpful. Medical terminology.
