Description

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Maintain and manage specific outside territory by meeting and exceeding sales, gross profit, and unit goals. Manage customer accounts to ensure advanced service and technical support to customers with on-site consultative visits on a regular and ongoing basis. Work with and support Lab Managers/Directors within our Pharma and Biopharma key accounts. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct on-site customer visits to provide technical information with regards to chromatography related products and services
Ensure that assigned territory meets sales, gross profit, and unit goals
Extensive hands on HPLC and MS experience of both large and small molecule analysis
Experience working in or supporting the Pharmaceutical/Biopharmaceutical market segment, Contract Research Organization and/or Generic Pharma in an analytical setting
Identify new opportunities and drive customer support along with sales growth in advanced segments of the Biopharmaceutical market (i.e. Biologics, Biosimilars, etc)
Conduct on-site product demonstrations and/or technical seminars
Attend local vendor shows and company sponsored trade shows
Collect and distribute Voice of Customer (VOC) and market information feedback in a structured format to the marketing and product management teams
Develop relationships with new and existing customers
Develop business plans, market analysis, and sales strategies for assigned territory
Have a positive attitude, be a team player, and strive to learn and contribute to company culture
Complete assigned learning plan
Manage and maintain information in customer database system
Perform other job-related duties as requested by customers and/or management
Good working knowledge of the chromatography (HPLC and GC) and specifically mass spec analysis

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors Degree in Life Science required. MS of PH.D. a plus
Requires analytical thinking and presenting ideas
Customer and negotiation skills
Results-oriented
Experience in Microsoft office and Database Management
Strong organizational skills
Valid Drivers License
