Job Summary All case managers will incorporate the fundamental principles of utilization management, monitoring of resource consumption , social services intervention, and individual discharge planning including the transfer or discharge of a patient to another level of care, services or different settings will be based on the patient's assessed needs and the organization's capability to meet these needs. Certification/Licensure Requirements: License Required: FL RN Licensure, or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions) Nursing experience: 1 or more years of previous experience in clinical nursing, discharge planning, in an acute care setting. Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred. Skills: Basic computer knowledge. Ability to be flexible and accept change readily. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred 3 or more years of previous experience in clinical nursing or Six months experience in discharge planning and/or utilization management, in an acute care setting preferred
