Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsible forretrieval of soiled linen and distribution of clean linen products
1. Maintains friendly,efficient Spirit of Service attitude towards customers, colleagues and clients.
2. Retrieves soiledlinens from designated areas.
3. Distributes andstocks clean linen storage areas per established par levels.
4. Receives and monitorsclean linen from outside vendor. Will weigh or count materials to establishedlevels.
5. Maintains clean andorderly storage areas.
6. Stocks linen cartsper established levels and distributes to floors and service areas to meetscheduled requirements.
7. Adheres todepartmental sanitation procedures.
8. Perform all otherrelated duties.
High school diploma orgeneral education degree (GED) required.
Ability to communicate(both verbal and written) effectively
Ability to work wellunder time constraints
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oralinstructions.
Ability to work independently
Basic knowledge ofhealthcare infection control procedures and universal precautions
