The Accounts Receivable associate will work with the Accounting team for the overall collections for Wholesale and B2B business within L'OCCITANE. In addition to resolving discrepancies according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.


  • CollectionsResponsible for collection for wholesale, Business to Business and Corporate Gift businessesFollow up on past due invoicesDeposit all check payments and process all credit card payments Post customer's payments to offset invoicesProvide statements to customersProvide and review monthly aging reports
  • ChargebacksReview all chargebacks to verify validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments and customersResolve valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries Resolve invalid or unauthorized deductions with coordination of Customer Service
  • Participation in month end and year end close
  • Assist with all adhoc projects
  • All other duties or projects as assigned

    Reduction of DSO. Timely resolution of chargebacks.



    High School Diploma or GED; Associates Degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school preferred


    1-2 years' experience in Accounts Receivable or finance with knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards and compliance requirements


  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Excellent organizational skills necessary
  • Strong communication skills required
