This position will work as a strategic partner with agency President and other key stakeholders to drive company results via talent initiatives that are aligned with business objectives. Drive the delivery of key HR programs and services including talent acquisition, benefits, compensation, succession planning, leadership development, engagement/retention strategies, etc.. Reports to: Agency President and Regional Talent Director (North America). Required Skills. Key Responsibilities. Executive Strategy:. Act as advisor to President for all internal talent matters. Provide support in making business decisions.. Collaborate as key member of senior leadership team; provide proactive leadership and innovative approaches on current-edge talent strategies. Make recommendations and implement ideas to maintain a highly collaborative, engaged, and performance-based culture. Provide advice and feedback regarding the design and rollout of corporate wide communications and initiatives. Identify organizational improvement needs, determine methods and implement programs that are responsive to both individual and departmental needs.. Performance Management:. Drive the performance management process. Ensure compliance, participation and effectiveness of program.. Lead annual talent review, working with managers on outlining succession plans, identifying high potentials and managing development profiles; lead mid-year check-ins to assure development plans are tracking.. Recruiting:. Oversee Recruiting Manager to ensure quality of recruiting metrics--time to fill, quality of hire, cost per hire, etc.. Build best in class candidate experience.. Advise leadership on strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats in terms of candidate marketplace.. Training and Development:. Partner with regional team to recommend and opportunities for staff; build materials and evolve course content.. Recommend executive coaching for leaders when appropriate.. Research and recommend use of outside vendors where appropriate.. Compensation:. Oversee compensation planning for agency to include benchmarking to ensure competitive pay, leading promotion/merit pay increase discussions with leaders, create general compensation philosophy for agency.. Employee Relations:. Exercise sound judgment to make key recommendations to multiple stakeholders. Acts as change agent to drive business forward and support employees through transitions.. Provide advice and counsel to management and non-management employees to improve employee satisfaction (issues resolution, professional development, benefits, balance programs, etc.). Strong conflict management skills: brings substantial conflicts and disagreements into the open and attempts to manage them collaboratively.. Staffing:. Work closely with Director, Resource Manager and Finance Director to make operational decisions based on changing conditions on a regular basis.. Leadership:. Coach, mentor, and supervise Human Resources staff.. Structure team accordingly to suit business needs. Anticipate recruiting issues and hire freelancers accordingly.. Partner with Regional Talent Director and Chief Talent Officer on region-wide and /or global talent initiatives. Promotes and generates cooperation among one's peers in leadership to achieve a collective outcome.. Diversity. Ensure that diversity efforts are forefront in agency business. Proactively review diversity stats and develop strategies to drive a culture of inclusion.. Required Experience. 10+ years Human Resources experience in related industry. Demonstrated high level of business acumen and knowledge of HR best practices.. Strong HR business partnering capabilities; ability to create effective and productive work relationships.
