We are currently recruiting for an Associate Director, U.S. Oncology Marketing Thoracic HCP Strategy Lead. This Thoracic position will focus on currently approved NSCLC and SCLC indications and will prepare for additional indications within lung cancer. The position will be based in Upper Gwynedd, PA and will report to the Executive Director of Thoracic Marketing. This position will require outstanding leadership in many areas including strategic planning, counter-competition, flawless execution, promotions development, relationship building. Key responsibilities include and are not limited to the following: Lead the strategy realization efforts to support overall brand objectives Leverage customer insights to develop brand narrative and message platforms Regular collaboration with field leaders to ensure brand strategy can be executed and address field needs Develop an appropriate marketing mix for HCP promotional strategy Lead development and implementation of core HCP promotional materials and prioritization of promotional materials for thoracic cancer indications Collaboration and communication within and across tumor teams Lead cross-functional teams and clearly communicate a vision, needs, and ensure deliverables are met Serve as US marketing point supporting field training needs Ensure oversight and accomplishment of key launch work streams Qualifications Education Minimum Requirement: Required: BA/BS Preferred: MBA/MS Required Experience and Skills: Minimum of (5) years Pharmaceutical business experience Core marketing experience including strategy development and launch planning Healthcare provider promotion experience to include bringing materials through legal, regulatory, and clinical review Strong relationship building, problem solving, teamwork, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills Experience influencing without direct authority and working successfully with cross-functional teams 15-20% travel including some weekends Preferred Experience and Skills: Oncology marketing or related experience Field sales experience Your role at Merck is integral to helping the world meet new breakthroughs that affect generations to come, and we re counting on your skills and inventiveness to help make meaningful contributions to global medical advancement.
