The Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) seeks a highly motivated professional to work in the User Services Unit within the Information Technology (IT) Department. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, technically diverse and dynamic global environment. The candidate will support projects across a broad spectrum of IT and provide a high-level of customer support to users across multiple physical sites. Some of the duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • IT procurement and hardware inventory management
  • Serve as the liaison to other organizations to assist in the development and improvement of business process to support accurate and efficient hardware management practices
  • Perform data analysis to identify data inaccuracies and initiative procedures to correct and prevent future occurrences
  • Participate on team deployment projects for new IT hardware
  • Coordinate and schedule large office moves and hardware refreshes
  • Provide subcontractor oversight
  • Build and maintain relationships with team members, vendors, and other organizations.
  • Job Requirements

    Intermediate:
    High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of four years of relevant experience; or
    Associate degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of two years of relevant experience; or
    BS degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.

    Senior:
    High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of seven years of relevant experience; or
    Associate degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and five years of relevant experience; or
    BS degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and one year of experience.

    Job Preferred Skills

  • Experience with hardware management tools such as BMC Remedy
  • Experience working across groups or physical locations in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with diverse team.
