This position resides within the Information Technology (IT) Program Management Office (PMO), which provides business services to the IT Department, managing (planning, tracking, and governing) IT finances, procurements, contracts, and related performance metrics. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management, analysis, control, and release of information to the department and its stakeholders, as well as be responsible for analyzing business needs to formulate, develop, implement and maintain new and modified business processes. The Business Professional will assist IT personnel across the Enterprise in executing budgets from multiple sources of funding and assist with a variety of business and finance related tasks to support efficient day to day operations of the department.
Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of two years relevant experience; or
Master s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university
Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of four years relevant experience; or
Master s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of two years relevant experience
The successful candidate will also have the following:
Strong Interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communications.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
Experience managing budgets with multiple sources of funding.
Experience performing finance functions to support ongoing financial operations including processing of transactions, recording cost allocations and distributions, reconciling data, performing variance analyses, and obtaining and verifying financial forecasts.
Experience compiling and validating financial data to ensure accuracy and developing summary analyses and graphical reports to facilitate management decision-making and resolution of problems.
Experience interpreting and analyzing financial data to develop alternative analyses and presenting recommendations to management for action.
Other duties as assigned by management.
