Parsons is now hiring a Field Project (Administration/Construction) Manager with a desire to work on creating innovative, practical solutions to Federalprojects throughout the US that enhance our national security.
In this role you will manage all planning, installation, and close-out activities for several small projects, in accordance with the project schedule. This includes observing and documentingclient contractor activities in accordance with project/client procedures, scope of work, and contract specifications. Serves as the primary point of contact with the client for all site activities related to assigned area(s) of responsibility.
The Field Project Manager will manage roughly 6 8 project sites from planning (develop SOW, IGE, updating drawing pdf), to procurement (bidder questions, tech analysis), to construction (reviewing deliverables, weekly progress meetings), to close-out (as-built and close-out package and invoice review).
Experience overseeing the installation of security system upgrades and willingness to relocate to the Washington DC area, or the Northeast is preferred if non-local to those areas.
Parsons extensive experience in this field, combined with your 7+ years of experience (5+ years Federal construction experience) coordinatingconstruction projects at a field level will propel your career and leadership opportunities forward. We need our Field Project Managers to be versatile, enthusiastic to work in highly flexible, team-oriented environments that have exceptional communication, analytical and organizational skills.
4-year degree in engineering or construction-related field, or equivalent construction-related work experience, as well as5 or moreyears of experience in field construction is required. Experience in the construction of large civil/structural and/or industrial projects at domestic and/or foreign locations is preferred.
Requires a working knowledge of engineering and construction-related processes, as well as industry practices. Also requires excellent written and oral communication skills, a familiarity with CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering and construction, and the potential for performing in a lead capacity on a project.
Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) experience is preferred.Must be eligible to obtain and maintain, or currently possess Prescreen Required clearance.
