Duration: 12 Months Contract Essential Responsibilities:
Purchase Order requisition request purchase order, track timely approvals of requisition and release of PO, conduct timely receiving to match invoice.
Respond to Sourcing/PO questions and requests regarding purchases, suppliers, work scope and savings, new supplier adds to Companys Supplier System, etc.
Interface with supplier in response to questions and issues regarding purchase orders and invoices.
Answer Program Manager questions and resolve issues per request on Purchase orders, invoices, supplier information, etc. Expedite urgent requests by following up with approvers in the process chain.
2 yr degree/ equivalent experience.
Familiarity with general Purchasing and accounting principles.
Ability to learn and understand Companys financial and purchase systems.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office (e.g.. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Understanding of business operations
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
Manufacturing or large project engineering business operational experience
Organized, demonstrated ability to manage multiple unrelated tasks simultaneously
Proven track record in delivering results
Strong analytical skills, problem solver
Displays good interpersonal skills - is accessible and approachable
Measures processes and performance through the customers eyes
Takes initiative. Performs well with minimal guidance.
