The Coordinator/Associate, Marketing will be an integral role at JFK, providing invaluabletactical and daily support to the airports team and across all parts of thebusiness with a focus on passenger experience; including customer serviceinitiatives, social media & online review monitoring, sales &promotions, digital initiatives and events. Success in this role includes aself-starter mentality, detail-oriented, and strong interpersonal skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Passenger Experience

Monitors and troubleshoots social media & online review programs to ensure appropriate action & response time, team awareness and success for JFK (Terminal 8) tenant s online reputation.

Coordinates and implements both national and locally relevant events and promotions based on key marketing plan objectives. May include new store openings, airport days, on-site events and promotions, etc.

Provides locally relevant content, retailer sales/deals, and key airport information for integration into digital channels.

Create and maintain relationships with agency partners, operations management, retail associates, and business partners, becoming the first point of contact for any issues. Regularly visit each retailer and develop strong understanding of business needs, sales trends, and customer behaviors.

Work as an integral member of the airports marketing team to achieve marketing goals.

Customer Service

Manages local customer service program ensuring key stakeholders including, front-line retail associates supervisors and managers, are engaged. Includes coordination and execution of meetings, training programs, retailer outreach, customer service taskforce, etc.

Assists in training, mentoring and coaching customer service representatives to consistently deliver exceptional customer service.

Assists in the management of URW s Customer Service initiatives and employee-based incentive/rewards programs as well as other customer service satisfaction measurement programs for JFK.

Strives to improve and build upon overall customer services and amenities. Researches analog industries, seeking new ideas and best practices to incorporate into menu of Westfield services

Coordinates locally relevant employee programs (i.e. employee menus, sales driving incentive programs, job fairs, etc.)

Provide excellent customer service to customers/associates when issues and questions come up, becoming a regular resource and support for associates.

Responsibilities

Support all local and national digital initiatives per Marketing team strategies & goals.

Attend retail partner meetings to provide marketing updates, incentive program winners and introduce new marketing programs and opportunities.

Assist with the development of marketing presentations, recap reports and support documents for a variety of audiences regarding marketing programs, projects and other ideas to support the business objectives of URW Airports and airport clients.

Manage all aspects of assigned marketing projects including, but not limited to, concepting, copywriting, image selection and creation of creative briefs for marketing campaigns, advertisements, collateral/signage, etc.

Work effectively and efficiently with internal and external agencies and vendors to meet agreed upon goals.

Competencies & Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree or combination of education and relevant experience

Minimum of 2-3 years of full-service professional Marketing & Customer Service experience

Strong oral and written communication skills

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently to meet expected deadlines and schedules

Demonstrated team player

Part time 20-hour work week schedule with the ability to work additional hours as assigned including weeknights and weekends.

Compensation

Hourly wage based on experience and qualifications

This is a six month, contract position

Primary Location

This position is based at John F Kennedy International Airport, Terminal 8.

Reports to

General Manager JFK Terminal 8 with a dotted line to VP, Marketing
