We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, and passionate Director of Sales who can help us exponentially grow the Rentals marketplace. This role will report to the Senior Director of Rentals Sales and is responsible for the overall performance of a regional sales organization, including driving sales productivity inclusive of new account prospecting through fostering deep, meaningful, and long-term client partnerships. This role will be responsible for providing world-class mentorship and development to a team of direct reports.Key activities will include: Own, develop, and lead all aspects of sales, sales strategy, and personnel development spanning every level of the regional rentals sales org. Focuses on implementation of consistent and high-quality sales output; excited to get into the details, roll up sleeves, and push improvement through ongoing iteration. Monitor and continuously improve metrics focused on revenue, sales velocity and closing ratios. Facilitate process standardization including, but not limited to, activity metrics, sales process, and operational cadence. Excellent at leading teams through change in a hyper-growth environment. Grow and develop a sales culture with a focus towards a growth mindset. Specifically, the multifamily Rental sales team works with owners and operators of rental properties throughout the US, helping to connect rental shoppers with the property they will next call home. Who you are 10+ years sales leadership experience ideally across a range of sales & product environments, including organizations that combine a large outbound sales team with an outside sales team to drive growth. You have significant experience leading multiple sales organizations of 20+ representatives and leaders. Proven sales leadership experience including implementation and ongoing management of goal setting, accountability metrics, and pipeline management. Flexible, with the ability to lead large scale teams, cross-functional responsibilities, and priorities in a fast paced, growth-focused and time-critical environment Proven ability to train sales teams on managing a complex sales process that may include multiple decision makers and influencers as well as transactional sales process that may include a single decision maker. Ability to communicate, present, and influence multiple levels within an organization, including at the C-level with extraordinary communication skills, both oral and written. The position requires 25-35% travel to meet with industry decision makers in corporate marketing as well as at divisional and national levels.
